Semi-private snow skiing on a taller mountain with longer trails than Jack Frost & Big Boulder is right out the back door. Ski-Big Bear has 100% snow-making capability, night skiing, snow tubing, a terrain park, plus ski & snow board rentals and lessons.

We provide guests with four rechargeable 2-way radios so you can let the children ski in and out – day and night – and keep in touch as they fly by the living room picture windows and return on the chair lift. With six ski lifts and no lift lines, you won’t get run over while teaching your kids how to ski here.

Himmlischer is the closest chateau to the new Ski-Big Bear ski & swimming pool lodge which is adjacent to the tennis courts, water slides, tiki bar, country store, restaurant, playground, baseball field, basketball, tennis, shuffleboard and bocce ball courts.

There is also a beach along a beautiful lake with a snack bar, multiple playgrounds, fitness center and petting zoo.
